How a failure in Rome turned into success in Pescara, Italy

If you saw the last video you’d know that we were heading to the Puglia wine region in the south-west part of Italy. But first we were going to a Puglia dedicated wine tasting in Rome. Well…it was a total failure.

The strategy was to find some small producers or to network and get recommendations on where to go. But, when we arrived the event was full of the larger wineries. We like small family run vineyards because that is where we find the best wine. The wine at the event was okay…but not what we were looking for. We felt defeated. But the next day we luckily met Alex, who owns a restaurant called Wine Wine in Pescara, Italy.
